Ceramic Heating Strip – Stable Insulation Core for Ceramic Band Heaters
Ceramic Heating Strip – Stable Insulation Core for Ceramic Band Heaters
Ceramic heating strip, also known as ceramic bobbin strip, is the essential insulating inner filler for ceramic band heaters widely used in plastic extruders, injection molding machines and industrial band heaters.
Made from high-density steatite or alumina ceramics fired at high temperature, these multi-hole slotted ceramic strips separate resistance heating wires evenly, delivering balanced heat distribution and excellent electrical insulation. They withstand continuous working temperatures of up to 1000°C, with no deformation, carbonization or electric leakage under long-term high heat. The specially designed concave wire grooves lock heating wires firmly to avoid displacement caused by thermal expansion and mechanical vibration, eliminating short-circuit risks inside heating coils.
The compact ceramic structure features outstanding thermal shock resistance and chemical stability, resisting oxidation, oil stains, and weak corrosive gases in workshop environments. We supply a complete range of specifications: 3-hole, 4-hole, multi-groove long strips, open slot and closed hole types in multiple lengths and widths. Precise dimensional control ensures seamless assembly within stainless steel heating jackets, greatly improving production efficiency for heater manufacturers.
Compared with low-grade insulation materials, ceramic heating strips feature non-flammable property and ultra-long service life, reducing frequent maintenance of heating equipment. Standard sizes are in stock, while custom hole counts, sizes and special-shaped strips are available per customer drawings.
For reliable, long-lasting band heater manufacturing, our ceramic heating strips are your ideal choice for insulating heating wire carriers.
