1. Brief

Thermocouple ceramic tubes are ceramic tubular components used in thermocouple temperature measurement systems, mainly including two product types: protection tubes (outer tubes) and inner insulating tubes (inner cores). Protection tubes protect the thermocouple sensing element from high temperatures, corrosion, and mechanical damage. Structurally, they include semi-open tubes (closed at one end and open at the other) and full-open tubes (open at both ends). Inner insulating tubes isolate the positive and negative thermocouple wires to prevent short circuits, commonly featuring double-hole, four-hole, or other multi-hole structures. Both types are made from high-purity ceramic materials (such as 95% alumina, 99% alumina, steatite, etc.) through high-temperature sintering, offering excellent high-temperature resistance, electrical insulation, and chemical stability.
