1、Brief

Our ceramic welding backing strips are made of special heat-resistant ceramic powder with binder, molded and low-temperature sintered. Each strip is composed of segmented small ceramic blocks with red alignment line, packed with aluminum kraft paper backing.

It is an essential consumable for one-side welding with back formation process. When attached to the back side of weld joint, the ceramic pad holds the molten metal pool and shapes a uniform back weld bead automatically. This product completely eliminates back chipping, carbon gouging and back-side grinding, greatly cutting construction time and improving welding efficiency. We provide standard sizes and accept custom groove shapes and dimensions, widely adopted in industrial on-site welding projects.
